Burlington Beer Company is standing in solidarity with those who shared their stories about mistreatment and survivors of gender discrimination, racism, sexual assault, and harassment within the industry. By standing with us now, you are part of the movement for change that is long overdue in the beer industry.

The mission of the Brave Noise Beer Project is to make a change within the beer industry. Each participating brewery pledges to donate the sales of their Brave Noise beer to support a nonprofit that aligns with the mission. BBCO has chosen to donate 100% of proceeds from the sale of this beer to Montpelier-based Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence @vermontnetwork, an organization working to uproot the causes of violence and to build a world free of oppression.

The artwork featured on our Brave Noise Pale Ale label is a group effort by current and former staff members:
Annie McCaffrey, Hannah Goldman, Francesca Genello, Kiersten Kelly, and Cara Ricciardi.

Thank you so much for your contributions in bringing this label to life!

Each participating brewery also pledges transparency and a commitment to change with a Code of Conduct for staff, customers, and vendors to drive change internally and throughout the wider industry. You can find our Code of Conduct on our website.

You can support Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and the Brave Noise movement by picking up Brave Noise Pale Ale on draft and/or in cans to-go at our Burlington taproom at 180 Flynn Avenue. Brave Noise will also be distributed across Vermont in the coming weeks as well, allowing you to support the cause even if you can’t visit us.
